We are all aware of the challenges created by the COVID-19 coronavirus, and we understand the concerns for your household when planning a move. All of us have been affected by this virus. We want to assure you, our valued customers, by informing you of the steps the AB Moving Team is taking to help protect you and prevent the spread of the virus. We continue to closely monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation so we can take all necessary steps to protect the health and safety of our customers and team members.
We are following Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, as well as guidance from federal, state, and local officials, to make informed decisions and remain committed to recommended prevention methods. We are fortunate that we currently have no reported team member or customer cases and our company remains open for business. Here are the actions that we have implemented in response to the pandemic:
- All movers have been encouraged to practice social distancing and to stay home if they are sick.
- We sanitize all handrails, doorknobs and chair arms, workstations, and shared business machines.
- All movers are required to wear masks.
- We are requiring all movers to check their temperature before beginning work in the morning and to check it throughout the day.
- Sick employees are not allowed to work.
- Our movers will follow social distancing guidelines wherever possible. As you can understand, some situations may require two movers close together in tight spaces.
- Trucks will be sanitized before each move.
- We ask you to provide a sanitizing area that our movers can use after entering your premises and before leaving. They will sanitize the area after each use.
- You are free to check their temperature before entering your property.
- You are free to ask questions and decide who can enter your home or business.
- We ask you to notify us about any concerns you may have.
We understand the built-in difficulties associated with moving. We want you to know we are doing our best to make your move as smooth and safe as possible.
